Bridge Kids was created to minimize crime, drug abuse and bullying in underprivileged neighborhoods. The goal of this program is to a create one-on-one connections between School Resource Officers and youth to help them realize that the safety and protection of our community is a group responsibility. Out of this program, we have been able to partner with Van’s and donate over 400 pairs of shoes to underprivileged kids between grades 2 and 6.
The Arlington Police Foundation supports and supplements the efforts of the Arlington, Texas Police Department through officer resources, youth programs, recognition of outstanding service and scholarships.
